Hi, I’m Destiny!

My path to this work started with a bachelor’s degree in Mental Health and Counseling. The more I learned about how much our emotional well-being shapes everything else, the more I found myself drawn to pregnancy, birth, and those early weeks with a new baby, when so much changes all at once. I went on to complete my Full-Spectrum Doula and Childbirth Educator training through Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings (BADT), and their focus on culturally responsive, socially conscious, inclusive support still guides how I show up for every family. Today I support families from pregnancy through birth, postpartum, and early parenthood.

My sweet spots are first-time parents, high-risk pregnancies & maternal mental health. I love helping new parents understand what’s happening and why, so the unknowns feel a little less scary. Because of my counseling background, I pay close attention to how you’re really doing, not just how your baby is doing, because your emotional health matters just as much as your physical recovery. And if you’re carrying a hard past birth, loss, or trauma into this experience, I’ll meet you there gently, at your pace, with no judgment. I’m also a certified high-risk doula, so if your pregnancy comes with extra appointments, extra worry, or a NICU possibility, you’ll have someone steady beside you who knows that path.

What Support With Me Looks Like

Whether I’m with you through labor or arriving for an overnight, my goal is the same: that you feel safe, confident, and truly held. During labor, that means continuous support, comfort measures, and helping you feel informed at every step. At home after baby, it means real rest for you, gentle help with feeding and newborn care, and someone who honors your values, your traditions, and your vision for parenting. As a Safe Sleep Ambassador, I’ll also make sure your baby’s sleep space and routines follow safe sleep guidelines.

For families who want it, I also offer placenta preparation and optional herbal wellness, like handcrafted teas, salves, and other plant-based preparations, alongside modern, evidence-based support.
