Our purpose
We believe every family deserves to feel supported, rested, and confident as they adjust to life with their baby.
Through compassionate, individualized, evidence-based postpartum care, Blissful Sleep helps parents recover, bond, learn, and thrive during the fourth trimester.
We are not working to become the largest provider network. We are building one of the most trusted, one thoughtful family match and one exceptional care experience at a time.
A note from our founder
Care rooted in expertise and genuine connection.
Long before I became “Nanie,” I understood the power of compassionate postpartum support. Getting to care for my own grandson Parker, as both his doula and his grandmother, brought me right back to the heart of why this work matters.
The technical skills matter. Reliability, sound judgment, and evidence-based education matter. But families also remember how we made them feel: safe, respected, understood, and a little less alone.
That is the kind of care Blissful Sleep exists to provide. It is also the kind of professional I hope to welcome into our network.
Warmly, Marsha

What guides us
The values behind every family experience
Our standards are intentionally high because families invite us into one of the most intimate and vulnerable seasons of their lives.
Compassion First
We meet families exactly where they are, with empathy, encouragement, and no judgment.
Education Over Opinion
We offer evidence-based guidance while honoring each family’s values, goals, culture, and choices.
Rest Changes Everything
Rest supports recovery, mental health, confidence, connection, and a healthier transition into parenthood.
Personalized Care
No two babies or families are alike. Support should be responsive, thoughtful, and never one-size-fits-all.
Professional Excellence
We earn trust through preparation, integrity, discretion, reliability, accountability, and continued learning.
Relationships Matter
Exceptional care begins with authentic human connection and respectful professional collaboration.
Who thrives here
This network may feel like home if you…
…see postpartum care as skilled professional work and believe the details of how we serve matter.
Minimum qualifications
Professional preparation matters.
We welcome applications from both experienced and newer Certified Postpartum Doulas and Newborn Care Specialists who meet the following baseline qualifications:
- Recognized postpartum doula or newborn care specialist training/certification
- Current professional liability insurance
- Current in-person Infant/Adult CPR certification
- Three professional references
- Ability to provide requested documentation and complete screening requirements
- Reliable transportation and professional communication
What you can expect
