Grow with Blissful Sleep Doulas

Blissful Sleep Doulas is building out a dedicated support group of three for a family expecting their baby early October 2026. This is a significant placement, 8 to 12 weeks of full around-the-clock support, and we're looking for experienced, certified providers ready for a real commitment.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Certified Postpartum Doula (PPD) or Newborn Care Specialist (NCS)

• Experience with 12-hour shifts required

• Experience with 24/7 coverage or working as part of a multi-provider support group strongly preferred

• We would especially love to hear from a group of three providers who have already worked together and know each other's rhythm

THE SCHEDULE:

• Daytime Provider: 7:00am to 7:00pm, Monday through Friday (no housing, commutes daily)

• Overnight Provider: 7:00pm to 7:00am, Monday through Friday (no housing, commutes daily)

• Weekend Provider: Saturday 7:00am through Monday 7:00am, one continuous 24-hour block. Private housing (bedroom and bath) is provided in the family's home for this shift only, with a guaranteed daily rest period.

WHAT THE ROLE INVOLVES:

Every shift includes feeding support for both mom and baby, hands-on physical and emotional support for mom, hydration and nutrition support, and weaving in parent education on baby care and development naturally throughout the shift.

Daytime also includes meal prep for the family (heating/finishing breakfast, preparing lunch and dinner).

Overnight also includes baby laundry and restocking supplies, plus preparing breakfast for the family and incoming daytime provider. All providers follow a structured handoff process at every shift change so nothing gets lost between shifts.

This placement comes with clear standards around each provider's private space and rest, so the work is sustainable across a multi-week commitment, not just physically possible for a week or two.

ONBOARDING:

All providers must complete our full onboarding process prior to placement, including background check, professional references, verification of credentials, current CPR certification, up-to-date vaccinations, and proof of liability insurance.
